Job description
We require a full time sales advisor to work in our store in Carlow, to deal with a mostly regular customer base who visit our store, as well as new and existing telephone customers. Product interest or knowledge of using tools, would make this role much easier to grasp, however training is provided.
The Role:
Dealing with customers phone & counter queries in a friendly and efficient manner.
Identifying customer needs and advising best products where needed.
Working with our purchasing and stores department to ensure timely turnarounds and customer satisfaction.
Maintaining your own area of the shop and being health and safety conscious.
Experience:
The successful candidate should have experience in a similar role, or product/previous trade experience with excellent communication skills. Experience working in a trade or hands on tools environment would be ideal.
A good team player, who enjoys working with people.
IT Literacy desirable, but our own system training will be given.
An interest in tools and/or safety would be a great help.
We pride ourselves on good customer service and we will need the new team members to do the same. A willingness to learn is a must as our product range is vast.
*** The Office based role, is all of the above, but mostly working from the office with the existing team of experienced long term staff, so plenty of support is available.
We also need a part time Van driver for 2-3 days per week for a local regular route.
Part time Van driver required to deliver goods to a regular customer base within a 40 mile radius of Carlow town (Thursday and Fridays at present, with the option of a 3rd day possible available if desired)

EPT Carlow require a sales person to join our trade counter team. Sales experience OR product knowledge is a bonus, but training can be provided for the right person with the right interest in our industry.
