The combi drill is the DCD796 which is more than capable enough for all your drilling needs in wood and metal. It can be used for drilling in masonry too, but this kit includes an SDS+ drill better suited to that task.
The DCH273 is a rotary hammer drill with an SDS-Plus bit holder that excels at drilling holes in concrete and masonry. It has 2.1 Joules of impact energy, allowing it to easily drill holes up to 24mm diameter in concrete.
For driving screws into a range of different materials is the DCF887 impact driver, taking 1/4" hex shanked screwdriver bits in its quick-release bit holder. Thanks to the 3,800 impacts per minute, it can deliver up to 205 Nm of maximum torque.
The first option for cutting wood is the DCS565 circular saw which takes a 165mm diameter blade spinning at up to 4,950 rpm. Even though it has a relatively small diameter blade, it still boasts a maximum cutting depth of 55mm.
The next option for cutting wood is the DCS334 jigsaw, which is also capable of cutting metal, up to 25mm thick in aluminium. It uses a tool-free blade change system that makes it easy to select the correct blade for your application.
Finally is the DCL040 torch which features a pivoting head and sits on the battery for a stable platform that can be aimed just where you need it. It also has a hook that allows you to hang it too. The torch has an LED that gives fantastic battery runtime.
The DCK690P3T power tool kit is supplied with a charger and three 5.0 Amp-hour Lithium-ion battery packs, and all the tools, batteries and charger are cross-compatible with DeWalt's other 18V XR Li-ion products.
