This kit features the incredible DHP486 combination hammer/drill driver that is capable of drilling holes up to 76mm in timber, 16mm in masonry and 13mm in steel thanks to the extreme power brushless DC motor. It operates at 18 Volts but is capable of a maximum fastening torque of 130 Nm in hard joint applications and 65 Nm in soft joint applications.
This version of the kit comes in a Makpac Connector case (type 2) and is supplied with two 18 Volt Lithium-ion battery packs which each have a capacity of 5.0 Amp-hours. There is also a DC18RC compact battery charger. These are all part of the LXT platform which means that the batteries in this kit work with other 18V LXT power tools, and the combi drill can be powered by any LXT 18V battery.
